Principal

I began my career at St. Charles School in 1987 as the second-grade teacher.  I received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Northern Michigan University and a master’s degree in educational leadership from the University of Dayton. After teaching second grade for 21 years, I was named principal of the school in 2008.

I consider teaching in a Catholic school truly a blessing.  Students at St. Charles carry with them strong morals and values that are infused throughout their lives.  The school has a strong Catholic identity, and the Catholic traditions such as student-led daily prayer, recitation of the Rosary during October and May, student-led Stations of the Cross during Lent, and participation at weekly Mass are an integral part of the instructional day.

I am a member of St. Charles parish and reside in Greenville.  My husband, Michael, and I have two grown daughters.
