St. Charles School encourages students to participate in organized sports. An athletic director organizes and coordinates practice and game schedules. Students in grades three and four may participate in basketball. Students in grades five through eight participate in the Grand Rapids Area Catholic Elementary Athletic Council. Girls’ sports offered at that level are volleyball, basketball and track, while boys’ sports are basketball and track. Students must follow eligibility guidelines to participate in organized sports.
