“I ask everyone to continue to pay special attention to this most important issue of respect for human life from the moment of conception… safeguarding every human being from the very first moment of his or her existence.” ~ Pope Francis
The Respect Life group strives to educate the parish community about Catholic teachings regarding the sanctity of life. Special events are held throughout the year to promote respect for life and provide support to local and state efforts. The group hosts two annual benefit dinners, holds a special prayer service on Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, honors mothers and fathers on their special days, participates in the annual Life Chain and Ionia Free Fair Respect Life booth. In addition, they provide literature about the Catholic teachings regarding respect for human life and dignity to our parish community. If you would like to get involved with any or all of these activities, please call Candy
