YM3 Living Stations ~ View Online

To view all of the Living Stations videos click on the 3 bars in the upper right hand corner that has “1/5” listed below them.

#LivingStationsYM3 The teens of YM3 have been working hard the last few weekends to create the Living Stations as a video series since we couldn’t host it with a live audience under the current guidelines. We will post two Stations a day for all of Holy Week, so please tune in and share! We hope these videos help you contemplate on Our Lord’s Passion and Death during this Passiontide.

#GivingTuesday ~ December 1st

#GiveCatholicWM on #GivingTuesday
What is #GivingTuesday? It is a global day dedicated to giving back; a time to think about giving rather than receiving especially after the commercialism and consumerism of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
This year, Bishop Walkowiak is encouraging Catholics to participate by supporting parishes, schools and ministries right here in West Michigan. You are being asked to #GiveCatholicWM on #Giving Tuesday. It is our own local link to this day of giving back.
Here are ways you can participate on Tuesday, Dec. 1:
  • Donate to #GiveCatholicWM from midnight to 11:59 p.m. Tuesday: http://bit.ly/givecatholicwm. One hundred percent of the donations will go to the earmarked parish, school, or ministry. Credit card fees will not be charged.
  • Post a status or photo on your social media accounts explaining which parish, school, or ministry you are supporting within our diocese. Use the hashtags #GiveCatholicWM and #GivingTuesday.
  • Take and post a photo of yourself or your family members sharing what #GiveCatholicWM means to you. Use the hashtags #GiveCatholicWM and #GivingTuesday.
  • The Diocese of Grand Rapids would love to know how you plan to #GiveCatholicWM. Send your photo to dogrcomm@dioceseofgrandrapids.org and with your permission it may be posted to diocesan social media accounts. If you don’t already follow them on social media, I would encourage you to do so:

Register Now for Religious Education Classes for 2020-21

Registration is now open for 2020-21 Religious Education classes. This year we will be doing a hybrid program for First, Third, Fourth/Fifth, Sixth and Eighth grades. We are going to meet all in-person for our First Communion (2nd grade) and Confirmation (7th grade classes). This year Religious Ed classes will run tentatively on Sunday afternoon at St. Charles  and Sunday evening at St. Joseph. October through April. Unfortunately, at this time we are not allowed to have nursery and Sunday School for preschool during Mass.

Masses Will Begin Again May 30/31

We are happy to share that we will begin Masses again the weekend of May 30/31st.

The return to Mass will come with adjustments. Parishioners were mailed a letter from Fr. Jim with a copy of the new guidelines we must follow. A copy of the guidelines can be found in the link below. We ask for your continued patience and understanding as we all adjust to the changes we have been asked to make. Please continue to watch our website for updates.  Due to limited seating you will be asked to reserve a spot at the Mass you plan on attending. The link to make an online reservation to attend Mass will be posted on Monday mornings at 10:00 am and will close on Friday afternoon at 2:00 pm. You can also call the parish office to reserve a spot.

Scam Pretending to be Fr. Bauer

SCAM ALERT!
It appears that Father Bauer has been involved in an email and text scam. Staff members/parishioners have received emails and/or texts appearing to be Father Bauer and it is not. DO NOT REPLY TO ANY TEXT OR EMAILS before you talk to Father Bauer or parish staff directly. Your privacy and safety are always our concern.
